For part of my final major project I designed this Theremin. The Theremin I had was very plain and functional, and I wanted to make it more visual. The measurements on the lathed aluminium aerial-housing correspond to the golden section (phi), which affects our perception of beauty. Also, the concentric rainbow reflects off it, which adds a bit of interactive change.
