Throughout most of 2010 I worked at Spartan Games, Somerset. Here we used a lot of silicon and resin to create masters, submasters, and finalised resin products. Spartan is a world-reknowned company in the tabletop war gaming world, and produces some excellently detailed and interesting models. Most are designed on computer, then us modelmakers would make moulds from the 3D print-outs. This work taught me a lot about industrial larger-scale production techniques and workshop management. I also got to design my own Orc Battleship product, which is now on general worldwide release (as below).
